“Convicted felon”

[edit]

Hunter is not a "convicted felon," as he received a presidential pardon. Obviously the fact that he was previously convicted is relevant and is covered in-depth in the article, but it is factually incorrect to describe him as a "convicted felon." 2600:1011:A03F:94C1:A5E3:A016:56F:F9F0 (talk) 14:57, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A pardon is forgiveness for a crime and may remove some of the consequences of a conviction. It doesn't make the crime or conviction go away. O3000, Ret. (talk) 15:13, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
